Private lessons are offered weekly, beginning in September until the end of June excluding Christmas and March breaks for a total of 40 lessons throughout the year. Summer lessons are also available upon request.
Lesson times vary depending on lesson length and instructor availability.

PRIVATE LESSONS
The following is our list of our private study lesson fees. In order to simplify payments and reserve lesson times, the studio generally requires full payment or monthly e-transfers / post-dated cheques prior to commencing lessons.

SMALL GROUP CLASSES
Private and semi-private lessons (3-5 students) are offered weekly, divided into two terms; our fall five month term; and our winter five month term. Availability and scheduling of group classes is dependant on enrollment and the schedules of the interested students.
Individual weekly group lesson fees are as follows:
Keyboard and theory
1 hour class $25 (each)
Group Improvisation
1 hour class $25
T&T Drum circle
¾ hour session $20
Recording Fee
Recording fees are determined on a time or project basis - please call and discuss your requirements to receive a competitive quote.
If a student registered with the Violin or Jazz Studio desires to record at Ascension Sound Studios, there is an additional fee, but at a discounted rate as determined by the scope of the recording.
Policies
Lessons are paid in advance which reserves your lesson day and time.
Payment: You may pay in full or monthly with e-transfer or postdated cheques at the beginning of the month.
Cancellation Policy: All Private lessons cancelled by the teacher will be made up, most cancellations are due to performances. If for any reason the student cancels, 24 hours notice is required in order to be eligible for a makeup lesson. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed but will be tracked and an alternate time will be offered when available due to other cancellations. Group lessons missed unfortunately cannot be rescheduled.
Withdrawal: Prepaid lesson packages are refundable upon providing one month advance notice.
Rescheduling statutory holidays:
Both student and instructor will find a suitable time to reschedule statutory holidays.
